Tatertots and Jello recently had a guest tutorial from The Funky Polkadot Giraffe. I love both of these blogs! The tute was for a Hooded Beach Poncho. At first, I thought I might just file it away in my "someday" pile, but then I read these words:
My kids always complain about how cold they are when they get out of the pool and this is the perfect solution! Therefore, I knew I had to make some.
I added a little bit of fabric trim to mine though. Rockets for Finn (orange towel OF COURSE):
And some polka dots for Kiki:

Cute! My 5 year old LOVES orange too. Has ever since he was 12 months old. They turned out great! I made beach robes for my boys as well yesterday for swim lessons. They really are must haves for kids!

I like this idea! I definitely need to try my hand at this. Also I love your blog! I've been hanging out here for a while and it's awesome! Especially the skirt to purse tutorial!
